The band onstage accompanied praise songs for the volunteers.
Children from the 7th-day Junior Academy were joined
by adults and children from community churches to
serenade and then visit with residents in the nursing home.
Roof repair, wheelchair ramps, steps and handrails- all in a day's work.
Yard clean-ups and beautification projects were done
at the hospital as well as private residences.
Projects were accomplished in every part of Essex
County- 60 in all, ranging from repairing steps and
roofs to serving lunches to assembling toiletry kits
for foster children and farm workers to painting.

St. Margaret's girls fixed and delivered lunches, provided child care
for volunteers, put together kits for farm workers, women at the Haven,
and foster children, and generally served as hosts to the Operation
Inasmuch crowd that met on St. Margaret's campus.
